Who we Are
Established in 2016 by the Government of the Republic of Namibia
trades as a private company, governed by the Companies Act.
Our objective is to serve as a price discovery mechanism for the Namibian government
by trading in rough diamonds on the global market , and create a Namibian footprint in the downstream market.
NAMDIA will leverage on the high quality and corresponding premium prizing of its Namibian diamonds
and will create an iconic brand that positions Namibia diamonds, as a niche product in the luxury brand segment.
OUR VISION: To be the leading supplier of ethically sourced high quality “exclusive” Namibian diamonds to the premium and niche luxury market
OUR MISSION: To harness the natural endowment of Namibian diamonds and maximize the local economy’s share of value. The struggle to develop our beloved Namibia and to share its wealth among all of our people, will take longer than the political struggle, but where there is a will, there is a way.
